23-Years-Owned 2000 BMW Z3 2.8 5-Speed
This 2000 BMW Z3 2.8 was acquired by the current owner in 2003 and is finished in Alpine White over Sand Beige Oregon leather. Power comes from a 2.8-liter inline-six paired with a five-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential. Equipment includes a power-operated dark beige soft top, 16″ Style 42 wheels, Dynamic Stability Control, dual roll hoops, wood interior trim, a Harman Kardon sound system, cruise control, and air conditioning. This Z3 has 128k miles and is now offered by the seller on behalf of its owner in San Ramon, California, with an owner’s manual, service records, and a California title in the owner’s name.
The car is finished in Alpine White (300) and features a power-operated dark beige soft top, fog lights, clear turn-signal lenses, front fender vents, and dual exhaust outlets. The Carfax report notes that the car sustained “minor damage” to the right side, right rear, and rear in a July 2018 entry, and “minor damage” is also reported in a December 2021 entry. The seller tells us that the front and rear bumper covers and right door shell were replaced, and repairs were performed on the right quarter panel and fender following the July 2018 damage. The soft top is faded and stained, and additional blemishes include scratches beneath the front bumper, a paint chip in the hood, and paint imperfections where the front bumper meets the fenders.
The 16″ Style 42 alloy wheels are mounted with Ironman iMove Gen 2 tires. The car is equipped with Dynamic Stability Control and four-wheel anti-lock disc brakes with ventilated front rotors. The brake fluid was flushed in January 2024, and the power steering hoses and fluid were replaced in April 2025.
The cabin features two bucket seats trimmed in beige leather, and matching leather extends to the door panel inserts. Amenities include wood trim, dual roll hoops, a cassette stereo, a Harman Kardon sound system, cruise control, and air conditioning. The air-conditioning compressor and service valves were replaced, and the system was recharged in February 2026. The glovebox is loose.
The M leather-wrapped steering wheel frames a 155-mph speedometer and a tachometer with a 6,200-rpm redline as well as gauges for coolant temperature and fuel level. The digital odometer indicates 128k miles , approximately 120k of which were added during current ownership.
The 2.8-liter M52TUB28 inline-six was factory rated at 190 horsepower and 206 lb-ft of torque. An oil change was performed in February 2026, and a leak from the oil pan is noted by the seller.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a five-speed manual transmission. The transmission fluid was changed in April 2025.
