1987 Jeep Wrangler Custom

Built to compete at the highest level, this 1987 Jeep Wrangler is a nationally recognized custom show vehicle that combines award-winning craftsmanship with serious V8 performance. Featured in multiple 4x4 magazines and the recipient of numerous First Place awards at major truck shows and 4-Wheel Drive Jamboree Nationals.

Following a comprehensive frame-off restoration completed approximately 3,000 miles ago, the Jeep remains exceptionally well-presented throughout. The undercarriage has been finished to the same high standard as the exterior, while the floor pans and chassis remain in outstanding condition. Power comes from a professionally built Chevrolet 350 cubic-inch V8 featuring four-bolt main bearings, high-compression pistons, a custom-ground camshaft, Jet-Hot coated Hooker headers, and an Edelbrock dual-quad aluminum intake topped with dual 600 CFM Edelbrock carburetors. Producing approximately 400 horsepower, the engine is paired with a TH350 automatic transmission equipped with a shift kit and B&M ratchet shifter for exhilarating performance both on and off the road.

The custom exterior is finished in a striking show-quality paint scheme with intricate graphics, complemented by a custom fiberglass hood, chrome nerf bars, chrome front and rear axle trusses, and one-of-a-kind custom Centerline wheels wrapped in 35x12.50 BFGoodrich Mud-Terrain tires. A dual Flowmaster exhaust system provides an unmistakable soundtrack, while chrome suspension components and steering linkages showcase the meticulous attention paid to every detail underneath.

Inside, the Jeep features custom bucket seats, a padded roll bar, power steering and power brakes, a Sony audio system with soundbar, and a removable hardtop with etched glass panels, blending comfort with unmistakable custom styling. With its extensive list of upgrades, documented show history, and professionally executed frame-off restoration, this 1987 Jeep Wrangler represents an exceptional opportunity to own one of the most recognized custom Jeeps of its era.
