1967 Chevrolet Corvette Restomod

This 1967 Chevrolet Corvette Convertible has been transformed into a meticulously crafted, show-quality restomod through an extensive body-off restoration that blends timeless C2 styling with modern performance and engineering. Every aspect of the build was approached with exceptional attention to detail, beginning with the body being separated from the chassis and both components stripped, refinished, and detailed from top to bottom. The firewall, engine bay, underbody, and floor pans were smoothed and finished to the same standard as the exterior before the body was refinished in striking Silver Lake Blue with PPG clear coat. The interior floor was insulated with Kilmat sound and heat barrier before the body was mounted to a powder-coated Art Morrison independent rear suspension chassis featuring chrome upper and lower control arms, RideTech coilovers, stainless steel brake lines, and a fully modernized suspension system.

Power is provided by a Mast Motorsports-built 6.6-liter (402ci) L8T V8 producing approximately 550 horsepower and 530 lb-ft of torque. The engine features an upgraded proprietary Mast performance camshaft, aluminum cylinder heads, upgraded valve springs, VVT lockout, and a Harrop Hurricane intake manifold, while a polished Holley Front Drive accessory system and custom-painted GM 4L65 automatic transmission complete the engine bay. Cooling is handled by a DeWitts aluminum radiator, and a set of Sweet Thunder side pipes delivers a refined exhaust note that preserves the unmistakable Corvette sound without excessive volume.

Stopping power comes from Wilwood six-piston billet front brakes paired with Wilwood rear disc brakes, assisted by a chrome master cylinder, power brake booster, and electric vacuum pump. Schott Turbine wheels wrapped in Nitto performance tires complete the aggressive stance.

The custom interior is upholstered in Relicate leather and features handcrafted seats, a custom center console, bespoke door panels and rear trim with integrated LED accent lighting, German-weave carpeting, Vintage Air climate control, power windows, Dakota Digital HDX instrumentation with matching clock, an Ididit tilt steering column, Bluetooth audio, and a complete American Autowire wiring harness managed by a GM engine control system. Additional modern conveniences include Detroit Speed electric headlights, LED headlamps and taillights, a Dakota Digital linear hood actuator, a Tanks Inc. fuel tank, new glass throughout, and a new Stayfast convertible top. Original stainless trim and chrome bumpers were either restored to show-quality condition or replaced, resulting in a Corvette that combines concours-level presentation with exceptional drivability and modern reliability.
