This 1964 Ford Falcon Ranchero was refurbished around 2012. Work reportedly included repainting the bodywork, installing Falcon Futura interior components, and rebuilding the 170ci inline-six’s head and carburetor, as well as the front suspension and brakes. A three-speed manual transmission is linked to a 3.50:1 rear end, and the pickup is also equipped with white-painted 14″ steel wheels, four-wheel drum brakes, chrome bumpers, and a push-button AM/FM radio. The current owner acquired the pickup on BaT in January 2023, and since that time the air conditioning system was charged, KYB shocks were installed, the oil was changed, and new tires were mounted. This Ranchero is now offered by the seller on behalf of its owner with an owner’s manual and a clean California title.

The body was originally Wimbledon White and was reportedly stripped to bare metal before a repaint in 2012. Additional work said to have been completed as part of the refurbishment included rechroming the bumpers, polishing the trim, and replacing the windshield and weather seals.

White-painted 14″ Wheel Vintiques steel wheels feature red pinstriping and chrome hubcaps, and 195/75 Hankook tires were mounted by the current owner along with KYB shocks. Work performed by the previous owner as part of the 2012 refurbishment included rebuilding the drum brakes and replacing the front control arms and suspension bushings.

Originally beige, the cab was retrimmed in red vinyl during the refurbishment using Falcon Futura interior components. Bright trim lines the door panels, dashboard, and door sills, while interior equipment includes vent windows and an AM/FM radio. The air conditioning system was recharged under current ownership.

The two-spoke steering wheel features a Falcon-logo horn button and fronts a 120-mph speedometer flanked by gauges indicating fuel level and coolant temperature. The five-digit odometer has rolled over and now shows 2,900 miles, approximately 900 of which were added under current ownership.

The 170ci inline-six is equipped with a single carburetor and features a red-painted valve cover and air cleaner assembly. Work completed as part of the 2012 refurbishment reportedly included rebuilding the cylinder head and carburetor, cleaning the fuel tank, and replacing the fuel pump and ignition components. An oil change was performed under current ownership.

Power is sent to the rear wheels through a column-shifted three-speed manual transmission. The previous owner told us that the 2012 refurbishment included machining the flywheel and replacing the clutch assembly.
