Built in 1964, this ERA FIA Cobra combines classic Shelby-inspired styling with a professionally built Ford small-block V8 and modern drivability. Power comes from a 306 cubic-inch Ford V8 featuring 10.5:1 compression, a Shelby-style dual-plane intake, Competition Cams solid-lifter camshaft, stud-mounted aluminum roller rockers, and headers. The engine was professionally built by Canton Automotive Machines in Canton, Ohio, and dyno-tested at 264 rear-wheel horsepower and 266 lb-ft of rear-wheel torque, with an advertised engine output of approximately 349 horsepower.

Backing the engine is a Tremec T5 five-speed manual transmission, delivering an engaging driving experience well suited for both spirited street driving and weekend events. According to the original cam selection documentation, the engine was designed as a mostly street/some strip combination, offering broad power, excellent drivability, and a mild performance idle.
