This 1969 Ford Mustang Mach 1 is a thoughtfully built restomod finished in Sterling Silver, combining the unmistakable styling of Ford’s first-generation Mustang with a substantially upgraded drivetrain, chassis, and interior. Showing approximately 9,000 miles, the car traces its beginnings to a project originally started by a friend of renowned custom-car designer Dave Kindig, and has since been developed into a distinctive performance-oriented Mustang with a balance of classic character and modern upgrades.

Under the hood is a 408ci stroker V8 equipped with a Holley Sniper electronic fuel-injection system, delivering approximately 337 horsepower at the rear wheels. The engine compartment has been given a distinctive custom appearance with Myers cross braces and custom valve covers finished in Ferrari Red crinkle paint, providing a striking contrast against the Sterling Silver exterior. The combination of increased displacement and electronic fuel injection provides strong V8 performance while adding the drivability and convenience of a modern fuel-delivery system.

Power is sent through a completely rebuilt FMX automatic transmission featuring a modified shift kit and 2,000-rpm stall converter, giving the drivetrain a more responsive performance character. The chassis has also received extensive attention, including four welded Myers subframe connectors to increase structural rigidity. A CPP front suspension setup and BorgWarner close-ratio steering box further improve steering response and handling while maintaining the classic Mustang driving experience.

The interior has been fully replaced using OEM-style materials while incorporating tasteful custom touches throughout. Carbon-fiber accents complement the renewed cabin, with the headliner, sun visors, sail panels, doors, and center console all receiving attention as part of the interior restoration. The result maintains the recognizable character of a 1969 Mustang while providing a cleaner, more refined environment appropriate for the upgraded mechanical package.
